The new Champion Sharp Flame torch may look like the Champion torch, but what’s impressive is everything that sits below the surface. Inside is our powerful Sharp Flame design with a driving two stage centerfire flame. This stainless steel, surface mix glassworking torch was designed for glass artists looking for a production style torch that produces minimal radiant heat on the center fire and works smoothly with reactive cadmium colors and high volumes of glass.
Along with all of the standard features and guarantees you’ve come to expect from a Bethlehem, the Champion Sharp Flame comes with new features for enhanced versatility. Mounted on the new Bethlehem swivel base, you can securely attach your torch to your workstation, and by loosening a lever, turn your torch 360-degrees in any direction.
The torch’s hose connections are quarter inch male b-fitting threads that allow for safe connection and removal of hoses. It also comes with Bethlehem’s four modular precision-needle valves. Inside the valve is a stainless steel pin with sharp angles for precise control of the amount of fuel flowing through the torch. This lets you drastically change the flame temperature, width, and fuel mixture ratio.
